David was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and is a graduate of both the University of Nebraska-Omaha and the Kanakuk Institute. After spending 6 years as an Omaha K-Life student, he has worked the last 6 summers at Kanakuk's K-Kountry and KampOut! Kamps and is so excited for an incredible year at Link Year. While David loves all things computers and technology, his true passion is for the Lord and people. His dream is for disciples to become disciple-makers, for the Church to fulfill its calling, and for all to know the love, life, and freedom found in Christ.

Jonathan Tackett

Jonathan Tackett was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He was a Link Year Protégé during the 2017-2018 academic year. Jonathan is passionate about pointing college-aged students to the truth of the Gospel, and helping them build a foundation of truth. He is excited to disciple young men and serve as a Campus Shepherd this year.

From Hill City, Kansas, a small town of 1,000 in northwest Kansas.
Graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS in 2017 with a Bachelors in Organizational Leadership.
Graduated from the Kanakuk Institute in 2018.
Just finished her third summer working at Kanakuk's family kamp, K-Kauai.
Is passionate about learning and teaching the Bible and working with young women.
Loves to do anything and all things outdoors!

Katie was born and raised in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2017. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Katie furthered her Biblical education at the Kanakuk Institute here in Branson, MO. Katie is passionate about discipleship and leading young women back to the Lord in all aspects of life. She has a huge heart for understanding and living out truth, and is eager to demonstrate that this year with young women as a campus shepherd!
