Today we went to the Ulster Museum in Belfast. As we arrive i quickly noticed the strange 1970's structure from my pictures. As i walked in i realized how big it really was. We went and heard from one of the museum directors who shared with us about the museums history, various paintings/ exhibits, and furthermore the coming together of Belfast this museum brought during the times of the Troubles. After that we were able to explore the 5 different levels of this museum. I started with the first that included many animals and artifacts. I then went straight to the top where the paintings were. It was by far my favorite part of the museum. The paintings were so raw and original, it brought me to a place of serenity knowing how much history had taken place within these paintings. And that basically goes for the entire museum and all of its exhibits, so much history in one building. I LOVE IT. God is GREAT! Peace.
