This week’s speaker was Marvin Daniels. Marvin Daniels came in on Tuesday and Wednesday. On both of those days we talked about living beyond the norm in life. When he came in on Tuesday he talked about the individuality of the world and how people live in it. He also talked about what a Christian should look like and how we all look different. We discussed things about how our enemies could end up in heaven with us and how we felt about that. Marvin asked us a bunch of questions in which we had to sit or stand. If we had any relation to what he asked we would stand. If we didn't have any relation to what he asked then we would sit. He did that for a little bit. He then showed us this video on what is happening in different areas of the world and how people are finding grace. The video was really good. Wednesday we talked more about living above the influence. We discussed ethics and knowing the difference between what we have the right to do and what is right to do. We did this activity where we all had to go to one side of the room. He gave us some examples of situations in life. If we agreed with the situation we would stay on one side of the room. If we didn't agree with the situation then we would go to the other side of the room. After people split to their sides we would have a debate on why we agreed or disagreed. That was fun. We then discussed things in groups on the topics of money and time. We were asked which was more valuable and why. Time is valuable because we can make time. Especially for Jesus. We can't worship Jesus for money but we can with taking time for Him. One more thing we discussed is that life isn't going to get easier just because we worship and believe in God. That’s all the things we did and the things we learned this week with Marvin Daniels. Thanks so much for reading my blog!
