MYSTERY MONDAY - 'DOGWOOD CANYON
Today was an awesome mystery Monday! First we split up by gender and have our study on apologetics. I was with the girls at Autumn’s house. This is always a fun time of fellowship and learning. We are watching a great video series by Chuck Colson and having great discussion! Next we did a few hours of maintenance, which included picking up trash on Lake Shore Drive to keep our road around our campus looking beautiful! This definitely teaches us to work together and to appreciate the beauty that we have here in Branson, Missouri. It was such a beautiful day today. The spring weather is starting to come out to find us, and so we finally got to break out the shorts and t- shirts again! This in itself puts everyone in a great mood!
After we picked up trash we headed off to Dogwood Canyon with Adam Martin! This was a perfect location to spend this beautiful Monday. Some of us walked on the path through the park, and some of us rode bikes through it. As we walked on the path through the amazing creation, we were surrounded by tall trees, sunshine, animals, and waterfall after waterfall! The rocks are also very beautiful and great for climbing! We had a great time just trudging through the nature, taking lots of pictures and just enjoying life together. The beauty of Dogwood was such a blessing to each and every one of us and just seemed like the Lord smiling down on us as we go through this journey. After we left Dogwood Canyon, somehow we talked Adam Martin into taking us to sonic and we all got ice cream Sundays! This was a perfect ending to a great day. Just another successful Monday in the life of Link Year students!
